Navigating the Map

Basic Controls

There are several basic movements you can make on the map using the mouse.

Left Click - Centres the map on the position of the mouse pointer.
Left Click and Drag - Draws a box on the map which will then be zoomed to when the mouse is released. Boxes drawn to the right will cause the map to be zoomed in. Boxes drawn to the left will cause the map to zoom out.
Right Click and Drag - Pans the map around while the mouse button is held down.

Toolbar

The toolbar allows some additional control over the map interface. It is located near the top left hand corner of the map.

	History - Back
	Moves you back a step in your movement history. For example, if you zoom in to an area, clicking this button will zoom you back out to your previous position.
	History - Forward
	Moves you forward a step in your movement history. For example, if you recently reverted a movement using the 'Back' button, this will re-do that initial movement.
	History - Home
	Moves the map to it's starting position - a zoomed out view of the country.
	Zoom In
	Use this button to zoom the map in without changing the centre of the map. You can either tap the button or press and hold to achieve different amounts of zoom.
	Zoom Out
	Use this button to zoom the map out without changing the centre of the map. You can either tap the button or press and hold to achieve different amounts of zoom.
	Rocket
	Click this button to automatically zoom the map out and back again. This is useful if you have lost your bearings and wish to get a quick overview of where you are without losing your position.
	Pan
	By default, it is possible to pan the map by holding the right mouse button and dragging the mouse on the map. Select this toolbar button to use the left mouse button in the same manner, to drag the map around.

Mini-map/Zoom

The mini-map/zoom panel is located in the far bottom right hand corner. Click the 'Zoom' text to expand the panel showing the mini-map.

Use the left mouse button to click and drag the zoom box around the mini map to change the centre of the map view. Use the bar on the right hand side to alter the current zoom level.
